Second Gateway sign installed

The second gateway sign has now been erected, the weather was terrible with driving snow and high winds, not the best conditions for erecting signs. The sign features the St Martins church which looks very imposing.

SMHCCG thank everyone for their input into the design and layout of the sign which we are very happy with. Limestone boulders and smaller chippings have been promised by British Fluorspar a task we hope to complete before spring.

Over to the gardeners of the village who are encouraged to come forward to help plant and maintain the area which from our mock up below good look very attractive.
