BBC Radio Derby feature Stoney Middleton

BBC’s Radio Derby’s  daytime presenter Andy Twigge, chose Stoney Middleton as the village to be highlighted for the letter ‘S’ in their A to Z of Derbyshire villages.

A light hearted feature which nonetheless provided another opportunity to tell our village’s story.

Colin Hall was kindly volunteered to face the quick witted humour of ‘Twiggy’. Naturally the slot would never have provided opportunity to tell the whole story, however it was a useful little promotion for the Moon and chip shop and village trails!
